Fixes to “Outlook Not Showing All Emails” Error
Change Custom Filter Settings

If you also notice that some emails are missing from your inbox, changing the custom filter settings can help.

Step 1. On the “View” tab, click the “View Settings".

Step 2. From the menu in Advanced View Settings, choose a filter option.

Step 3. Next, on the Filter dialogue box, navigate to the "Advanced" tab. Click on the "Received Today" option if this filter has been applied. If you do not see it, it means the problem of Outlook not showing all emails was caused from here.

Step 4. Click "OK".
Remove Your Emails from Outlook Then Add It Again

Software can sometimes malfunction unprovoked, and the best way is to restart. If the above solution does not work, you can try re-adding the emails to Outlook.

To Remove:

Step 1: Click “File” on the menu bar.

Step 2: In Info, click the “Account Settings” dropdown and click Account Settings.



Step 3: Now, choose the account and hit “Remove”.

Step 4: Hit “Yes”.

To Add:

Step 1: Open Control Panel.

Step 2: Select “Mail”.

Step 3: Click “Email Accounts”.

Step 4: Hit “New” in the "Account Settings” dialog box.

Step 5: Choose “Email Account” from the “Add Account” dialog box.

Step 6: Enter the email address of the account or do a manual setup. Hit “Next” and you’re done.
Export and Import All Old Email History

To Export:

Step 1: Open Outlook and click the “File” tab.

Step 2: Under “Open & Export”, click “Import/Export.”



Step 3: From the “Import & Export Wizard”, click “Export a File” and hit “Next”.

Step 4: Select PST file type and click “Next.”

Step 5: On the “Export Outlook Data File” dialog box, choose the first email account on the list and check the “Include subfolders” box. Hit “Next”.

Step 6: Click “Browse” to locate the folder you want to save them.

Step 7: Choose the option to export duplicate items. Click “Finish”.

Step 8: Assign a password to the Outlook file and click “OK”.

After these, the next step is to create a new Outlook profile and import or send the exported data to the new profile. Here’s how to do this:

To Import:

Step 1: Navigate to the “File” tab in Outlook.

Step 2: Under the “Open & Export” category, click “Import/Export”.

Step 3: In the Export Wizard, click Import from another program or file and click “Next”.

Step 4: Choose PST file type and click “Next”.

Step 5: Click Browse and select the PST files. Hit “Next”.

Step 6: Choose the import options and check “Include subfolders”, click “Finish”.
