Tip 3. Adjust 3D Touch Sensitivity

Tip 4. Is Your Screen Broken or Damaged

Tip 5. Erase All Contents and Settings on the iPhone

Tip 6. Fix and Restore iPhone System
Tip 1. Make Sure the 3D Touch is Enabled

As obvious as it sounds, sometimes 3D Touch can fail to work as expected because you forgot to turn on 3D Touch. Therefore, before we go through more invasive troubleshooting solutions, you may want to check that 3D Touch is properly turned on. Follow these simple steps to do that;

Step 1: Open the settings app on your iPhone and then tap on “General.”

Step 2: From the options presented, tap on “Accessibility” and then scroll down to find “3D Touch.”

Step 3: Tap on it and then turn on “3D Touch” if it’s not already turned on.

Tip 2. Check for Updates of iPhone Apps

Sometimes 3D Touch can fail to work for a particular app. In this case, it is likely that the App is outdated and therefore not compatible with your iOS system. To solve this problem, you need to update the app. Go to the App store and select the problematic app to see if there is an update. If an update is available, update the app and then try to use 3D Touch again.
Tip 3. Adjust 3D Touch Sensitivity

Adjusting 3D Touch sensitivity can also have the effect of removing any hindrances to the feature’s functionality. Follow these simple steps to change 3D Touch sensitivity from Firm to Light.

Step 1: Open the settings app and then tap “General.”

Step 2: Tap on “Accessibility” and then “3D Touch” to open the 3D Touch’s settings.”

Step 3: Tap and drag the slider from “Firm” to “Light” to adjust 3D sensitivity.

Check if this has fixed the 3D Touch problem. If not, try out next solution.

Tip 4. Is Your Screen Broken or Damaged

If your screen is broken or damaged in some way, you may have trouble using the 3D Touch feature. You can try to fix the screen yourself using Apple’s Screen Replacement or Repair guide. You can also have a professional look at the device. Once the screen is replaced, 3D Touch should work normally again.
Tip 5. Erase All Contents and Settings on the iPhone

As much as it can be a hardware problem, it is also likely that the problem is also software related. Therefore, easing all contents and settings on the device can have the effect of removing whatever bug causing the issue. Here’s how to erase all contents and settings on your device;

Step 1: Open the settings app on your device.Sponsor ads:View & Share Saved WiFi Password on iPhone Xs Max/X/8/7/6s

Step 3: Choose “Erase All Contents and Settings” from the options presenting.

Step 4: Enter the passcode to confirm the action.

Once done, check to see if 3D Touch is working normally again.

Tip 6. Fix and Restore iPhone System

If erasing all contents and settings fails to work, it is likely that you may need a more advanced solution to remove the bug causing the software issue. In this case, you need a third-party tool that will fix and restore the iOS system, thereby removing the problem. One of the best tools to fix your iOS system is iMyFone iOS System Recovery. 3. “iPhone Contacts Missing Names” Problem

There are some iPhone users who have reported that immediately after updating their device, they noticed that the contact names were missing. The following solutions should solve the problem.
Solution 1: Restart the Device

If the device is not performing as expected, one of the easiest ways to fix it to restart the device. Here’s how you can force restart the device.

For iPhone 6 and older, hold down the Home and Power buttons together until the iPhone logo appears.

For iPhone 7 or 7 plus, hold the Volume and Home buttons together until the Apple Logo appears.

For iPhone X, iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, press and quickly release the Volume Up button and the press and release the Volume button. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple Logo appears.

It is also important to make sure that your contacts are syncing with all third-party accounts.

To do that go to Settings > Account & Passwords and then tap on each of the accounts listed there.

For those using iOS 10 or earlier, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts.

For each one, check that “Contacts” is turned on.
Solution 3: Quick tips for iMessage Missing Contacts

If both of the above solutions don’t work, try each of the following tips one after the other.

Tap the Home Button to open the App Switcher and then swipe up on the Messages app to close it.

Go to Settings > Messages > MMS messaging. Turn it off and then turn it back on.

4. “iPhone Contacts Not Syncing with iCloud” Problem

Your iPhone contacts can also sometimes fail to sync with iCloud which is a problem when you want to keep your contacts safe. If you experience this problem, here’s how you can fix it.
Solution 1: Turn off Contacts and then Turn It Back on

Solution 2: Make Sure Contacts are Saved in Your iCloud Account

Unless you use iCloud as your default account, new contacts will not be saved in iCloud.
Solution 3: Remove iCloud from Your Settings

If you do all that and the contacts still don’t sync with iCloud, you may want to try removing iCloud from your settings. To do that go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar> iCloud and then tap “Delete Account.” Restart the iPhone and then add iCloud again. Your contacts and other iCloud data will not be deleted from your iCloud account but any data that has not synced will.
5. “Google Contacts Not Syncing with iPhone” Problem

Sometimes trying to sync Google contacts with iPhone by adding the Google account can fail to work. You can only get a part of the contact and not the whole contact including addresses and phone numbers. If this is the problem you’re facing, ensure Google Account is Connected to your iPhone using SSL. The following solutions should help.

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Tap Contacts and then select “Accounts.”

Step 3: Tap on your Google account and the switch on “Contacts.”

Step 4: Now, tap Account > Advanced and then switch on “Use SSL.”

Step 5: Tap “Account > Done”.

Now try adding your account again. The contacts should fully sync now.
6. “Accidentally Deleted Contacts on the iPhone” Problem

It is one of the most common problems we’ve seen with iPhone users. You accidentally hit delete and a contact is gone. It can be easy to get the contacts back if you have a backup in iTunes and iCloud. But, what can you do when you don’t have a backup of the missing data. The good news is, the contacts are recoverable. The reason is simple’ your iPhone saves data on a SQLite database. When you delete data, the data base changes the space occupied by the deleted data from “Allocated” to “Unallocated” but doesn’t erase the data completely. When new data is added to the device, it occupies the “Unallocated” slots first, overwriting the information in those slots. As long as you don’t overwrite the “Unallocated” data, third-party apps like iMyFone D-Back can easily recover the deleted iPhone contacts. The following are some of D-Back’s features.Sponsor ads:best emulator website

Cons of Using iTunes:

  • You cannot set up the start and stop time while listening the song. You can preview the songs and record when to start and stop the ringtone in advance.
  • You can preview the ringtone to see it’s correct or not before you save it.
  • Even though this will be the most convenient method for a lot of iPhone users, it doesn’t give you a lot of customization over your ringtones and more importantly, if you have any other ringtones on your iPhone then they’ll be removed upon syncing.
  • It still lacks of ringtone customization.Sponsor ads:Share YouTube Video at Specific Time on Mobile and PCMust Read:If you lost data after you updated to a new iPhone, you can always use Gihosoft iPhone Data Recovery to get the data back from the old iPhone or backup.

Get into "Settings", hit on "User name" and then tap iCloud.

Push on Backup and finally hit "Back Up Now".

2019 Copy Music from PC to iPhone using iTunes - Limited & May Delete Data

1 Copy Music from PC to iPhone using iTunes - Limited & May Delete Data

iTunes is the apple verified user compatibles portal which helps you transfer files in between two devices. This user interface can be utilized to transfer songs from PC to iPhone.

Step 1: Move Music from PC to iTunes

Launch iTunes on computer and link your iPhone.

Make sure you are in the “Music Library”.

Go to “File > Add File to Library”. Choose where you locate the songs and select them to import.

Step 2: Transfer Music from iTunes Library to iPhone

Click device tab at the top left corner.

Tap “Music” tab at the left menu.

Check “Sync Music”. You can choose to sync the entire music library or some selected ones.

Hit “Apply” button at the bottom right corner to finish it.

Limitations:

All the existing songs on your iPhone will be replaced with the synced songs.

iTunes has restricted itself to media files with specific formats.

Your iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. If you already made it on other computer and want to transfer music from this PC to iPhone, you will lose everything on your iPhone.

If you accidently delete a purchased file/song on iTunes, the only way to redeem it is by purchasing it again.

With the help of iTunes you can transfer files to and fro your computer. The downside to this is that Apple only allows 5 computers to be authorized to a single device.Sponsor ads:

How to Retrieve Viber History from iPhone Backup 2019

1. Retrieve Viber History from iTunes Backup

If there is a case when your iPhone gets lost, stolen or damaged, you can easily restore all your date using the backup in iTunes. Apple has proved an easy and fast way to make that and you can just follow the steps.

Open iTunes on your PC or Mac that is used to back up your iPhone.

Connect your device to the computer with USB cable.

Select your device i.e. iPhone when it appears in iTunes.

In Summary panel, select Restore Backup…

Look at the date and size and then you can pick the most relevant.

Click on Restore and then wait for the restore time to complete.

Keep your device connected to wait for it to sync with your computer.

Note

The main disadvantage of using this way is that it cannot view the Viber data in iTunes backup and cannot retrieve your Viber data selectively.
2. Retrieve Viber Messages from iCloud Backup

If you have turned on your iCloud Backup on, probably your Viber is backed up automatically to your iCloud and you can retrieve Viber history from it. See the following steps.

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to erase your iPhone.

Follow the onscreen setup steps until you reach the Apps & Data Screen and then tap on Restore from iCloud Backup.

Sign in to iCloud with using your Apple ID.

Choose the most relevant backup which includes your Viber history.

Sign in using your Apple ID to restore your apps and purchases.

Wait until the progress bar complete the restore and stay connected.

Note

The disadvantage of this way is that it will restore your entire iCloud backup, instead of Viber history only and overwrite the current iPhone data.
